Marketing Media Review
Review any and all marketing media. Marketing media is reviewed with commentary using the guidelines of SEC advertising rules, and also any applicable state regulations. As a matter of firm policy, advertisements must be truthful and accurate and any advertising that is misleading, fraudulent, deceptive and/or manipulative is prohibited. All advertising and marketing materials must be consistent with the fees and services as described in the firm’s current Form ADV. The determination of misleading or false statements is generally judged against a standard of fair and accurate disclosure in keeping with the fiduciary nature of the advisor-client relationship. Provide a monthly compliance calendar to include reminders on keeping required books and records up to date. This includes but is not limited to the following:

- Monthly webinar training on 206(4)-7 review, including a checklist for your files
Training and Education
Training and education to provide you with the essential tools necessary to perform a comprehensive review of your policies and procedures which includes the following:
- Webinar Training 206(4)-7 Review: Monthly webinar training and corresponding checklist to document review of your supervisory procedures.
- Mock Audit: Conduct a mock SEC examination of your investment advisor. Visit your investment advisor’s primary office for two days. Conduct interviews of key personnel and principals of your investment advisor. Review a sampling of the investment advisory documents likely to be requested by the SEC. Prepare a written report of findings.
- Audit Preparation/Audit Completion: Review state/SEC required documents requested for an audit or state examination. Provide checklist of necessary books and records requirements. Serve as a resource during the audit/examination and provide assistance to include dialogue with the examiner as necessary until all deficiencies are satisfied.
- Compliance Training: Chief Compliance Officer and affiliated IAR training to comply with your firm's supervisory procedures. Conducted through on-site visits, telephone or webinars.
- Annual Compliance Review: Annual assessment of firm’s Code of Conduct and supervisory policies and procedures. Documented findings and written action plan for deficiencies. Conducted through on-site visits, telephone or webinars.
